isemeria: <cro777: In the diagram position White made a mistake by playing 66.Re1?? He should have played 66.Re8!> In my opinion, <??> is a bit too harsh. If a TB generator takes 35 minutes to solve it, I wouldn't expect a human to get every move correct under OTB time control. ...

isemeria: In addition to <LivBlockade's> line, with 54...Ka6 black also threatens ...Qb5+ with a simple win. <54...Ka6!> is such a beautiful move, and one that I couldn't understand during the live game. Engine confirms it's the most effective move for black.

isemeria: I followed Leko's live commentary on Gelfand vs Anand, 2012 from the official site. Game 7 of the Anand-Gelfand match in Moscow 2012 that is. IMO, he's a great commentator. He explained the positional considerations and plans very clearly and understandably. He seems to be a really

isemeria: GM Shipov's live comment after 14…Qf6: "Wha-a-a-t? Boris is continuing to play riskily with the motto "Not a step backwards!". It's as if he has to win at all costs and won't get another chance. Such sharp, provocative and here hazardous play is something I really didn't expect to ...
