Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-19-05  Bobak Zahmat: Unbelievable performance by Turkan Mamedjarova! I saw her last year at Corus Open. But here she is entering the top of the woman chess.
Nov-19-05  cade: At Corus Turkan was one of the worst performers, she has obviously improved tremendously since then.
Nov-19-05  Jafar219: Zeinab Mamedjarova played at Corus last year.Turkan is Shakhriyar`s second sister.
Nov-20-05  Knight13: So this tournament tells me that girls aren't so good at chess than boys?
Nov-20-05  Udit Narayan: <Knight13> Some girls are better than many boys, like me, could dream to become.

BTW, <aren't so good at chess than boys> should be <aren't as good at chess as boys>

Nov-20-05  Knight13: <Udit Narayan> Ahh.... I see.
Nov-21-05  Bobak Zahmat: <cade><At Corus Turkan was one of the worst performers, she has obviously improved tremendously since then> Turkan played in the CORUS OPEN and NOT in grandmaster group C. That was her big sister Zeinab.
Nov-22-05  DCP23: Elisabeth Paehtz wins the Junior Championship! Congratulations!!

10 points out of 13, not a mean feat by any account.

Nov-26-05  Astardis: So it is the World Junior Championship, right? She is 20 now... and still a junior?
Jan-18-06  tara boren: i think it grate girls can do any thing a boy can do
Jan-18-06  Ginnie Bellows: She is the Best girl player in the world.
