Nov-05-12  waustad: I think it has something to do with 4 nations. Yes, if you look here: http://www.4ncl.co.uk/ you'll see that it is the 4 nations chess league.

Nov-06-12  Octavia: 4 nations: England,Ireland,Scotland & Wales. The Scots usually play in some English teams. I don't know if the Irish & Welsh put in a team or two.
Nov-12-12  waustad: I considered that combination but saw so many Icelanders and Continental Europeans on the teams over the years I wasn't sure if Iceland and the Netherlands were 2 of them.
