The young twin sisters Baraeva (born 1995) are playing for the chess team from their region Krasnodar Krai (The Universty of Belorechensk)

In the first round WIM Marina Baraeva met WGM Tatiana Shadrina (Yugra)

Apr-09-13  cro777: GM Alexandra Kosteniuk missed the first two rounds due to her travel to the U.S. She was invited to the Nashville Chess SuperNationals, which took place April 5-7, 2013 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. (The SuperNationals is the largest event run by the USCF, with huge participation of scholastic players).

Kosteniuk played a simul against 37 young chess players.
