HeMateMe: Do it for Brezhnev, Natalie! (Just trying to get in the spirit of things.)
Jul-04-12  parmetd: After Baira's unbelievable performance in the Russia Higher League... she's now off to a bad start here.

Anyways, go Natalia!

Jul-04-12  waustad: This was a very good day for the Chinese. They seem to be alternating which team goes +2.

HeMateMe: How does the scoring work here? 1 point for a victory, add them up at the end, or is each round a victory, unto itself?
Jul-05-12  fref: <HeMateMe>: We just add the individual points

HeMateMe: Thats interesting, the score breakdown, per Natalie P. The Russian men had a slight edge in classical, then really clobbered their opponents in Rapids.

The Russian women were down a few points in classical, but lost just one further point in rapids.

I wonder why the Russian team, on the whole, excelled at Rapid Chess?
