HeMateMe: Allright, a tournament in Harlem! I'm gonna break out my Charlie Parker and Birth of Cool albums, get some cheap red wine and enjoy the chess. Y'all get hungry after the chess, head over to Sylvia's, for the best barbecue in the city!

Stonehenge: Harlem is actually named after the city of Haarlem in the Netherlands.

Sep-06-12  Gryz: And Brooklyn was named after Breukelen. But that doesn't matter here.

Good to see Nijboer playing in a tournament again. Go Friso !

HeMateMe: I guess this one kind of flew under the radar, what with the olympiad going on.
Sep-20-12  waustad: This is mostly a very young bunch playing. Giri isn't the only young player in the neighborhood.
Sep-29-12  rapidcitychess: Zherebukh's wins in this tournament look so simple. And with the space advantage that he gets so often, you wonder if he took lessons from Karpov on how to crush your opponent.
