Dec-21-03  shadowmaster: Some info on this tourney from the TWIC website: <The XVI Carlos Torre Memorial takes place in Merida in the Yucatan region of Mexico 12th-20th December 2003. 6 Round Swiss followed by a knockout. The top 12 in the Swiss qualified and were joined by Alexei Dreev, Boris Gelfand, Valery Filippov and Liviu-Deter Nisipeanu. Surprisingly Yuniesky Quezada (who beat both Gelfand and Filippov) won the event. Knockout has 2 90 minute games followed if needed by 2 15 minute games followed by sudden death 5 minute games.>
Aug-06-05  ArturoRivera: Luis Alonso Baez is a young mexican player who had won several times national tournaments, this player likes a lot the Kings indian and the Schveshnikov, i know the guy a bit, i traveled with him once and i have even played some blitz games against him.

  Tabanus: About 170 games are out there, including the ones from round 7. CG now has 70 games from rounds 1-6.

The games from rounds 8 & 9 are apparently not available ... ?
