Jul-28-17  diagonal: Good overview of this tournament series (former Politiken Cup): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xtrac...
Jul-28-17  PhilFeeley: I wonder why #3 played twice as many games as everybody else. Maybe there are two of them?
Jul-28-17  Fish55: <Phil Feeley> There are 16 different opponents in the 16 games. You are probably right about there being two of them.
Jul-29-17  soldal: Rasmussen is one of the most common surnames in Denmark (and you have no chance of becoming prime minister with another name). In this tournament there are nine Rasmussens, two of them called Morten Rasmussen, both on 3.5/8. (There are 13 Nielsens.)

The Revival of the Sunglasses goes on :)

Jabova recently plays a lot with sunglasses

HeMateMe: hey, Nigel Short went +6 here and finished just a half point out of first place. Well done!

Yes, I noticed that and thought the same thing - well done.

Of course, congrats to Baadur Jobava for winning it all.

FSR: Ironically, everyone else in the tournament played Baadur than Jobava did.
