greco counter gambit
Compiled by derek.mourad
--*--

the opening "latvian gambit" (e4 e5 Nf3 f5!?) has been around since the times of greco. he dubbed it the "greco counter gambit". this is my main (and only) response to the kings night opening (c40). it is one of the only gambits that has been around for about 400 years and still lurking around waiting for another kill. the main line accepted is Nxe5 then either a) greco's move Qe7 b) the move i am currently studying Nc6 (it looks very promising) and c) the main line Qf6. i know that sounds crazy but you should see the games. my chess coaches chess chess coach is victor puples. he beat young booby fischer with this move. these games are CRAZY. often black sacs a rook (and in the Nc6 line of the main accepted and N also.
