Chess Game Collections
[what is this?] --*-- [what is this?]

  1. Carlsen's best saves
    6 games, 2010-2013

  2. Engine defying moves
This collection features games containing moves I feel to be absolutely brilliant, and beyond the comprehension of even silicon. Here are the rules for a move to be included:

    1. If the move is found within 30 seconds by any of Houdini, Komodo, or Stockfish, it will not be included here. 2. The move must have been found and played by a human, not a machine or a centaur. 3. The move must be the only winning move - if the silicon beasts find an alternate winning move, it will not be included here. 4. With appropriate back sliding, the silicon beasts must agree that the move forces a win. If the win cannot be confirmed with a reasonable amount of cajoling, the move will not be included here.

    5 games, 1973-2006

  3. Greatest swindles in modern chess
This collection contains games where the winner probably should have lost. Whole point swindles only.
    3 games, 2012-2014

  4. How to play the Morra
    1 game, 2011

  5. Kasparov Scotch Wins
A collection of all Kasparov's wins using the Scotch Opening.
    12 games, 1990-2001

  6. Kinghunt's favorite games
    9 games, 1929-2015

  7. Lawl...
    Games that are just... lawl...
    6 games, 1900-2001

  8. Offbeat opening lines
Aggressive moves in otherwise typical openings.
    1 game, 2013

  9. Out of nothing at all
This collection aims to collect many of the best played endgames in top level chess, where one side manages to win a simple ending despite having next to no advantage. These endings have claimed a number of surprising strong Russian schoolboys, who have hopefully learned a valuable lesson.
    12 games, 1936-2013
