Winning Chess Traps Revisited This collection is a labor of love. Irving Chernev's "Winning Chess Traps" was the first chess book I ever read some 60 years ago. Chernev didn't give the names of the players or the events, so I've decided to identify as many of the games as I can. This won't be possible in all cases. Some of the traps are analysis fragments, not actual games, and some of the games aren't in the chessgames.com database (yet). 46 games, 1623-1941
