Chernev) I looked for 18 of the 62 games from his book, but 8 of them are not on this website. <a href="User: uglybird">uglybird</a> has the other <a href="Game Collection: The most instructive games of chess ever played">44 games in the book</a>. 10 games, 1885-1950 Game of the day. and/or puzzle of the day. Short games (28-) Since I am limited to eight collections, I combined these two in order to create another collection. About Half the games in the database (144,000) are 37 moves or less.
