- Nunn & Griffiths: Secrets of Grandmaster Play
Monomaniacal study of this book upped my rating from BCF 126 to 169. The book's intended as "deep and careful analysis...to instruct players of many different levels" and I trust anyone who plays through this collection will regard it as an inducement to get hold of the book rather than a substitute for it. It's a collection of 24 thrilling games annotated in such detail that I needed at least 3 hours to play through each one, and only by doing this can you derive the benefit intended.
