  1. shadowmaster's favorite games
    Some games I really like.
    7 games, 1907-2003

  2. Some of Fischer's games
In 1972, Fischer captured the imagination of the US and the world by becoming the first American since Morphy to win the World Championship. Before him, it seemed that the Soviet bloc had a tight monopoly on that title. However after winning that title, Fischer disappointed many newly made chess fans by withdrawing from chess. He did not enter any tournaments and negotiations for a 1975 title defense broke down. Despite his withdrawal from chess and the severe decline of his mental stability, Fischer still has many fans who claim he was the greatest ever. Because of this, I've become interested in knowing the "real" games of Fischer. I want to get away from the emotionalism of both his detractors and his supporters and gain a frank evaluation of his games. I've created this collection to help me in that attempt.
    7 games, 1964-1971
