Chess Game Collections
[what is this?] --*-- [what is this?]

  1. Excelling at Technical Chess by Jacob Aagaard
    Games from the book.

Currently missing the following three games:
Missing game on p55 Nepomnjatschij - Polovodin Leningrad 1988

Missing game on p109 Trabattoni - Barlov La Valetta 1979

Missing game on p128 Timmermans - Estegard Stockholm 2003

Any assistance in finding game scores would be greatly appreciated.

    57 games, 1968-2004

  2. Games that are of current interest to me.
The following games are compiled to help me in my CC games.
    1 game, 2004

  3. Laszlo Szabo - underappreciated brilliance.
    Laszlo Szabo. 1917-1998.

This collection exists to right a wrong - namely the absence of a chessgames collection for this magnificent player.

Many of his best games are marvellous displays of attacking prowess, but there are a few endgame gems that have to be seen to be believed. A true great of the game.

    31 games, 1933-1982

  4. My favourite games
Simply what it says on the tin. The games featured here may not be of the highest quality. They may not stand up to scrutiny. They may not be the objectively greatest games of chess ever played.

But each has something about them that makes me play over them again and again. These are the games that make me love chess.

    22 games, 1857-2006

  5. Unknowns of tremendous entertainment.
For a game to make it into this collection it must obey the following:

    1. It must indeed be of tremendous entertainment or great instructional value. 2. When added the game must contain 3 or less kibitzs. Kibitzs that are added later do not count.

Any suggestions for suitable games are welcome.

    92 games, 1849-2006
