Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-10-04  clocked: 11...Rxf5? is just terrible. Note that the logical continuation 12...Rxf2 13.Rxf2 Bxf2 14.Qh5 wins after a bishop sac on whichever pawn dares move forward.

Black could have made a game of it with 11...d5, even perhaps giving up the e6 pawn for play.

Oct-08-04  Knight13: MacDonnell is totally busted and horribly played.
Oct-08-04  clocked: <Knight13> who won?
Oct-02-07  nimh: Rybka 2.4 mp, AMD X2 2.01GHz, 10 min per move, threshold 0.25.

McDonnell 3 mistakes:
6.Bc4 0.37 (6.Nc3 0.66)
10.Kh1 -0.08 (10.Bf4 0.28)
21.a4 2.57 (21.a3 4.79)

De La Bourdonnais 3 mistakes:
11...Rxf5 0.96 (11...d5 0.05)
12...Rf8 2.53 (12...Qf6 0.94)
20...Bd7 4.79 (20...Qc8 2.80)

Oct-11-07  nimh: Correction, new threshold 0.33.

McDonnell 2 mistakes:
10.Kh1 -0.08 (10.Bf4 0.28)
21.a4 2.57 (21.a3 4.79)

De La Bourdonnais 3 mistakes:
11...Rxf5 0.96 (11...d5 0.05)
12...Rf8 2.53 (12...Qf6 0.94)
20...Bd7 4.79 (20...Qc8 2.80)

Feb-04-12  Knight13: <Black could have made a game of it with 11...d5, even perhaps giving up the e6 pawn for play> 8...Bb4 would have helped Black to equalize and not worry about sacrificing a pawn later.

dernier loup de T: 21.a3 seems more logical, but Black is lost anyway, for instance 21...Bc6 22.Bd2...with a winning position..
