Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-03-15  zydeco: Very messy middlegame. Botvinnik's combination with 38....Be3+ seems to win material. If 42.Be1 or 42.Rc3 black can win exchange with 42....Nf1+ and 43....c1=Q. It's a private nightmare for me to imagine trying to win an endgame like this in a tournament setting -- up an exchange but with pawns equal and the other player defending passively -- but obviously Botvinnik knows how to get it done.
