Honza Cervenka: 14...Bh5 with next Bg6 seems to be a wrong reaction on Taimanov's 14.Nh4. 14...Bd7 deserved attention.
Jun-07-11  Llawdogg: 14 Nh4 was key. It prevented Bxf3 and the doubled pawns. It prevented any light squared bishop trade. And then Taimanov was able to get f3 and e4 and control of the center.
Jul-11-15  zydeco: Probably a psychological mistake of Botvinnik's to play the Nimzo-Indian: it was a specialty of Taimanov's and not one of Botvinnik's main openings.

White meets 27....Kh7 with 28.h5.

Open Defence: < Llawdogg: 14 Nh4 was key. It prevented Bxf3> which is why Black should have probably tried 13...Bxf3 14.gxf3 Qd7 or 14...Na5 with the idea of Nb3 might be better as well
