Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-22-06  MarvinTsai: At the first 20 moves, it seems Gelfand could stand the position. But after 22...Qe6 23 Nd2, the black queen and rooks looks even slower than the white knight, everything's suddenly changed! Black exchanged his bishop and his pawn structure was ruined. This is just magic to me.
Jul-22-06  euripides: A pretty ending. If 55..Rb3 White can win with 56 g6 fxg6 57 Rh8.
May-17-10  MrMelad: 51.Rb8 is a nice Thursday puzzle.
Aug-10-10  anjyplayer: Kasparov positioned his queen after move 19 which is awesome, rightly so, to control and to bring action along light squares.
May-03-12  balzarius: This is a rapid game played at the PCA Rapid tournament Moscow 1996,according to my database.
May-03-12  WiseWizard: Gelfand expertly neutralized white's central pressure with 13...Bd6 to 15...exd5. Extremely instructive.
