Jul-01-04  Morty: Now this is out and out slaughter.
Jul-01-04  PinkPanther: It's a person who doesn't know how to play against the Cochrane Gambit.
Jul-01-04  Morty: I don't understand, why do people play the Petroff when they don't know anything about it. Its like an unskilled homeowner using an industrial size STIHL or Husquavarna chainsaw. There is bound to some bloodshed.

Sneaky: 5...c5 is correct. After 5...Nxe4? everything is forced and Black loses.

May-18-09  YoungEd: Well, I think <Morty> is correct that some people play the Petroff thinking it will be easy and drawish. Obviously, it doesn't have to be!
May-18-09  WhiteRook48: actually 5....Nxe4 has a win for Black in the database
Nov-21-17  Donkey255: Just one?
