  Phony Benoni: In reality, 2...d6 is a slight technical error on Black's part. Accoring to Opening Explorer, that produces draws only 34.7% of the time. More accurate would be either 2...Nc6 (with 36.4% draws) and 2...e6 (35.5% draws).

2...d5 produces 66.7% draws, but the small sample size (only 6 games) makes the figure unreliable. However, there is clearly room for exploration in that line.
