Phony Benoni: I'm working on a collection for Vienna 1908, and found a file of games from http://www.pgnmentor.com/. This indicated (confirmed by NICBase) that Black's last two moves were 45...h5 and 46...h4, which seems to make a bit more sense than our score. Would any of our Rubinstein experts care to check their sources?

By the way, the game is further proof that that Rubinstein knew how to flex a pair of bishops.

Black's last 2 moves were also given as 45...h5 and 46...h4 on page 132 of the 2nd edition of 'The Life & Games of Akiva Rubinstein - Volume 1: Uncrowned King' by J Donaldson and N Minev, 2006, Milford, CT, USA.
