fm avari viraf: After,19...hxg6 20.Bxf7+! Rxf7 21.Rh8+ Kxh8 22.Nxf7+ Kg8 23.Nxd6 Rd8 24.Re6 with a winning advantage. As I have mentioned earlier on the Orthodox Def. that with the similar combination, I won against a German Master in the Hastings International Blitz in 2001. I think, Black should play till the end as White has to come up with a winning plan.
Apr-14-08  Autoreparaturwerkbau: You are absolutely right, there is advantage after the fireworks-line you have given. Also, the advantage is just so slim (though not zero), black really might put up some more juice in it.
Nov-30-08  Karpova: Edward Winter's feature article "Wade v Bennett" from 1995: http://www.chesshistory.com/winter/...

FSR: As Winter notes in his article, Neishtadt in his book "Catastrophe in the Opening" pointed out that 18...Qb4! avoids this combination and equalizes. Boleslavsky-Moiseev, Odessa 1949 concluded 19.Rhe3 Bg6 20.Qb3 Qxb3 21.Bxb3 Rfe8 22.Kf1 Kf8 1/2-1/2.
Apr-10-13  TheTamale: Man, White really wanted that bishop.
Nov-04-17  Dr Winston OBoogie: VERY clever ... If black <played> hxQ after Bxf7+ ..RxB (forced) white has the brilliant piece grabbing Rh8!!
