Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-21-08  waustad: Chandler was in serious time trouble. He was down to a few minutes for more than 10 moves while Ivanchuk had about an hour. This detail may help explain some moves for future readers.
Nov-21-08  Benzol: The rest of the New Zealand team didn't do any better. Four-nil to the Ukraine. For Roger Nokes it was his first loss in the tournament.
Apr-04-11  newzild: White's minority attack is instructive. If 35...cxb5, then Black ends up with an isolated pawn on d5 and a backward pawn on a7. Murray decided that losing a pawn immediately was the lesser evil.
