  Check It Out: Did Ponomariov lose on time after only 15 moves? The position certainly isn't resign-able.

Maybe the PGN isn't accurate; happens a lot with blitz games.

  fredthebear: It's a blitz game, so early resignation is a bit strange. White is not busted tactically, but is on the defensive. This is one for the computers.

  fredthebear: Was White seeing ghosts? He certainly was feeling a bit cramped. 16.Bf5+ should swap off the bishops and allow some additional White expansion.

Black already has four pawn islands?! He'll need to put his heavy pieces to use and whip up a kingside attack.

With imbalances and opposite sides castling, FTB would have liked to see this game continue forth.
