Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-27-22  nalinw: Unusual game and decent pun .... "Painting Himself into a Corner"?

Korora: Does "Paint" have to do with White's name, or is it a reference to the American paint horse? Or, should I embrace the power of "and" here?
Sep-27-22  areknames: Well painted he was, merciless pun ;)
Sep-27-22  nevski: White's extremely poor game!!

An Englishman: Good Evening: Seems odd that White continues to play 6.Qf3, given the extremely poor results in the DB. Even the unimaginative 6...Nf6 does very well. The dancing Knights were a bunch of fun to watch.

Teyss: <Korora: (...) is it a reference to the American paint horse?> A bit far fetched but funny.

Excellent pun. Too bad there's no famous Manet painting with horses, would also have fit, these Black Knights are impressive. That's what happens when an amateur (apparently) plays an IM & former French champion. Only two games from Manet in the database, he probably stuck to painting since then.

Sep-27-22  AlicesKnight: Wierd - at the end only one piece even remotely active, and yet a clear 'won game'.

playground player: I didn't know the Caro-Kann could lead to such an overwhelming attack by Black.
Sep-27-22  ovalenti: I think "Paint" comes from the White player's name sounding like Monet.

"Pablo Kipasso never got called a Casserole", presumably.
