Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-06-14  Marcelo Bruno: Hey, the continuation doesn't work: I believe it's due to the notation between White's and Black's 50th move. Please rectify White's move as 50. a8Q. Thanks.
Feb-23-17  Retireborn: Makovetz has an interesting plan of expanding his space advantage on the Q-side while keeping his pieces behind the pawns. Mistakes from both sides follow, but eventually he breaks through and achieves a won position with 43.Nxa7... which he immediately throws away with 44.Nc8? (44.Nc6 wins) and 46.Nd2? And then, just when Lasker can win simply with 49...Nxf1 & 50...Qxd5, he commits seppuku with 49...Rc2?? I can only suppose that he hallucinated a mating attack on g2.
