Penguincw: Wow, pretty long game by 2 computers. In fact, this game is actually now the longest ever computer vs. computer game. There have been longer computer vs. human and human vs. human games.

The game that previously held this record was Spike vs Chiron, 2014, another TCEC game.

I believe in the TCEC, aside from the normal OTB drawing rules for humans, engines cannot offer draws (nor agree/decline them), but there's a rule effective after move 40 that if both engines have an eval of 0.05 or less for 10 consecutive plies, the game will be declared drawn.

Oh, and this game is also currently the longest game of 2016 so far. The previous game was this one: N Dzagnidze vs A Ushenina, 2016.
