Jun-29-23  sdrumovic: This game was likely played at the 1st National Tournament in Rome 1875.

Despite not "official" Italian Championships, a series of National Tournament was held in different venues until 1920. The 1st official Italian Championship was in 1921.

The Rome 1875 National Tournament was played with the "Italian Castling" rule, i.e. the castling player was free to place king and rook in any chosen square between e1-h1 (kingside) and a1-d1 (queenside) as long as they were inverted.

The Tournament was played since april 26th through may 26th and won by Pietro Seni.
