In this position white played a simple move, 21.Bc5, attacking the rook on f8.

Why didn't Szen just move the rook away? To b8 for example:

Then there would follow
22. fxe6+ Kxe6 23. Rf6+ Kxe5 24. Bd4+

24...Ke4 25. Re1#
So instead black decides to give up the exchange.

...white missed a clever win:
36. e6+ Kg7 37. Rh2 Be4 38. Rh7+!

Later still,

41.Kd6 would have won fairly easily, even though black's pawns look threatening.

The final position:

...which is a clear win for white. Szen put many problems in white's way and if this game was drawn it is a good achievement.
