Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-28-05  Helloween: White has an amusing phalanx of pawns after move 21.

In this game he overpresses and rejects the 3-fold.

Mar-28-05  jumperino: Hmm...white could've done Qxh7+ on move 42, and then the forced: ...Kf8 43. Qg8+ Ke7 44. Qe8+ Kd6 45. Qd7+ after which white wins the black queen next move. Not only does it win the queen, but it uses 4 different squares protected by the knight in which to walk the king around...very pretty!
Mar-28-05  cade: Yeah i saw that combination too. 42.Qg4? is a horrible blunder considering how natural 42.Qxh7 is.
Mar-28-05  Knezh: I suppose Janowski didn't see initially that 42. Qxh7+ fails to 42. ..Qxh7. oops
Apr-04-05  jumperino: <Knezh> Thank you. I'm blind.
