Sep-11-05  lopium: What a problem to find a solution to save black here.... because of Bxg4 or Nxf8. Hmm. This is lost then. Re8 doesn't save one piece.

BishopBerkeley: Why does this game make me think of a Reuben Sandwich?

(: ♗ Bishop Berkeley ♗ :)

Sep-11-05  Calli: Funny thing is, Victor Berger did not play at Kemeri 1937. see the crosstable at

http://www.rogerpaige.me.uk/Tournam...

It appears that this game and all the others that CG has attributed to Mr Buerger at Kemeri were played by Teodors Bergs.

Sep-11-05  lopium: Ahahazz!! Just a confusion....? Chessgames has to change that... lolz-
Sep-11-05  sneaky pete: Teodors Bergs is apparently the Latvian version of T Berg.
Sep-11-05  lopium: Seems complicated all what happen with him. Nice.
Sep-11-05  Calli: Well, he was Latvian! Yeah, they seem to end all names with an "s".
