  plang: 13..h6 was new; 13..f6 and 13..h5 had been played previously. Black was at least equal when White played 26 Ne3?! giving up a pawn for questionable compensation; preferable was 26 f6..Nxd5 27 Bxd5..Bxf6 28 Qh5 when White gets active play. 30 Bxb7..Ne3! would have been losing for White. Tiviakov was critical of 32 d4?! recommending 32 Qf2 with decent drawing chances. After the time scamble was over Reinderman erred withe 41 Re2? allowing the combination starting with 41..Rc2! simplifying to a winning ending.
