Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-10-04  Knight13: That's a longest games of Alekhine vs NN and a sad end game loss for NN. Good game.
Oct-10-04  suenteus po 147: It is a rather heartbreaking ending as Black must first stop the c pawn, but by then White has claimed the kingside for his own pawns, preventing black from rushing to defend his own. I don't even think 46...Kc7 can save a draw by that point.
Jun-09-15  TheFocus: From the blindfold simultaneous exhibition in Paris, France on February 1, 1925 at the Petit Parisien.

Alekhine scored +22-=3-3 to set a new blindfold record.

The opponent here was a team from Cercle de la Rive Gauche.

See <La Strategie> 1925, pg. 27-28.

tpstar: 6. Bf4 scores well for White = Opening Explorer

27 ... Nxb4 looks like an improvement.

Nice Q vs Q endgame.
