Qxf6 11.Rd1 Qxf3 12.gxf3 d4 (12...Ba5! ) 13.a3 dxc3 14.axb4 cxb2 15.c3 a5 16.Rb1 axb4 17.Rxb2 c5 18.Bc4 O-O 19.O-O Bh3 20.Rfb1 Rb6 21. cxb4 cxb4!? (21...Rg6+ 22.Kh1 Bg2+ 23.Kg1 Bxf3+ 24.Kf1 Bxe4 ) 22.Rxb4 Rg6+ 1/2-1/2 and a draw was sufficient for Black.

Sep-13-05  who: I think it's fairly well accepted that white taking the knight on c6 in a sicilian is a mistake.
Sep-13-05  azaris: That's too broad a statement, for example 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Nxc6 is good for White.
