Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-16-04  Hidden Skillz: 30.Rxb2..very nice
Feb-19-04  Taidanii: What was the reason behind 35. Rxe5?
Feb-20-04  WMD: The game score is again incomplete. White resigned after Alekhine's 43rd move. The opponent's initial is given as F so he would appear not to be Tibor Florian.
Jan-01-09  Gambit All: 35.Rxe5 loss of exchange is to prevent losing a full piece due to the Bishop and Rook . If White tries 36. Re3 Black is threatening such combinations as 36...Rf4, 37. Rxf4 gxf4, and whatever white does, 38...Bxd4 and the King can't take back due to the Rook.
Jun-28-10  Gambit All: Sorry, last post doesn't make much sense. Actually, I think if 36.♖e3, g4 and then the Alekhine's dark squared ♗ and pawn combine to force a white ♖ off the 3rd rank. Possible continuation is 37. ♖f5, ♖xd5 and white can't take back as the ♘ is pinned. Or 37. ♖f5, ♖f4; 38. ♖xf4, gxf4; 39.♖f3, ♖a4 followed by taking the a2 pawn with check and the g2 pawn.
Jun-28-10  Gambit All: If 31.{Kxb2, Rb8+; then, say, 32.Kc1, Qf1+; 33.Rd1; Qf4+, Rd2... How does black win?
Jun-28-10  Gambit All: Maybe ...31. ♕b4+; 32. ♔c1, ♖b8...?
Mar-31-11  Xeroxx: Indeed. Nice game.
Dec-03-15  indomega: If 44.Na8?...Rc8 traps the knight
