Nov-18-06  acirce: Final round of the Euwe Memorial. Here Kasparov could and probably should have played on with 24..Ke7 25.Qxe5+ Kxd7 26.Rd1+ Kc6 27.Rxd8 Rxd8 , but he was already short on time. He won the tournament outright anyway because Timman beat Ivanchuk who tied for first with Kasparov before the last round.

  Richard Taylor: How does or did Kasparov get away wit this crazy kind of play! O.k. I have had my moments but he often seems to be piece up (or down and attacking) but under an attack...but he has it all worked out... ?? Smart bastard.
