Feb-16-11  Marmot PFL: Art- I can't quite remember where all the pieces are.

Nick- Same here. Draw?

Dec-06-14  zanzibar: <Marmot PFL> no, this isn't a blindfold game.

It's from the <2nd Pan-American Open, Hollywood (1954)> and came from R7.

The New York "team" of Bisguiser, Evans and Rossolimo dominated the top-3 spots in this tournament, with Bisguiser getting/giving early draws to the other two.

If Evans--Rossolimo (1-0) was also an early draw there might have been talk of collusion. As it was, the summer of 1954 pretty much belonged to Bisguiser (see US Open result) and the other two players knew it.

Dec-06-14  RookFile: In the final position, I would much rather have the black pieces. Black has the two bishops and the better pawn structure. I think Rossolimo was the one giving the draw in this game.
