Dolfi Drimer vs Mikhail Botvinnik (1960)

Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-03-08  whiteshark: I think Botwinnik just has moved <24...Rg8>.

It looks as if no one is watching this game. Note the empty chair in the background.

Dec-19-14  whiteshark: He wrested this draw from Mikhail Botvinnik in round 10 of the final Group A on board 2.

R.I.P. Dolfi Drimer

Apr-25-15  A.T PhoneHome: Tal must be playing behind Mr. Drimer. My reasoning is that as the new World Champion he received the most attention, not the least due to his exciting style, and judging by the spectators looking at something on the right next to Drimer-Botvinnik it is Tal playing.

Perhaps people aren't watching because this game was almost over? They may have deduced that it'd be a draw. And as no one seems to look next to Botvinnik (board 3, Keres playing), that game too might have ended or was about to end.

Just my thoughts! And a brilliant achievement by Dolfi Drimer.
