  plang: It is unclear to me why Olafsson did not play 14..Bg7 followed by ..e6. After 15 Nxf6+ the black kingside pawn structure was fractured. It looks like 35..Re7 would have avoided Bronstein's exchange sacrifice which Olafsson must have underestimated. There was no defense after that as Olafsson's active rook was not able to do enough damage. Passive defense with 37..Ke7 would have been fairly easy to defeat. Bronstein won the prize for best endgame in the Interzonal.
