Apr-26-21  MarcBernstein: The following opening is a Ruy Lopez with 2 possible names :

Berlin defence :
(1) e4 e5 (2) Nf3 Nc6 (3) Bb5 Nf6 (4) O-O Bc5.

Cordel (classical) defence
(1) e4 e5 (2) Nf3 Nc6 (3) Bb5 Bc5 (4) O-O Nf6.

If it continues (5) c3 O-O (6) d4 Bb6
it is called the Benelux variation.

Spassky played it occasionally. 8. Qd5 is a somewhat more interesting line than the one played by Bronstein (8. Bd3), which gives White very little.
