Aug-05-12  Karpova: Dr. Emanuel Lasker: <Resistance would be useless after 73.Be8; for instance, 73...Kg7 74.Bc5 Nf7 75.Bxf7 Kxf7 76.h5 and he wins the f- and e-pawns, in exchange for the h-pawn.>

From the St. Petersburg 1909 tournament book, translated by Richard Teichmann.

Sep-28-15  ColdSong: In this variation with 8...Bg4,black can think about how to play a quick Bg5,the idea being to exchange the Bg4 on f3,and the Bg5 with the Bc1.
Sep-28-15  ColdSong: That seems much more interesting than the other classical variations where white has some attacking chances on the kingside.

Translated from the German of Dr Lasker into the German of Dr Teichmann.

Sep-29-15  cunctatorg: An extremely interesting and instructive masterpiece imho!...
Jun-20-19  zydeco: Leave it to Burn to come up with the plan (starting at move 15) of Nh2, g3, Qg2, Rf1. This game is a nice illustration of his style.
