Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-06-08  paladin at large: Maróczy could be vigorous, and 21. Nd5+ is a pretty move which devastates the black king's defense.

of the second <Charousek-Maroczy> Match.

Budapest
Nov. 12-19 1895

Fourteen games were played in eight days at the Budapest Chess Club

<Maroczy> won +6 -2 =6

Aug-13-12  Cemoblanca: 21.Nf5+ would have worked as well. However, it's a matter of taste! ;0)

21...Kf8 22.Nd6! Qd7 23.Nxe8 Qxe8 24.R4f2!, etc. Fortunately, Geza was not a brutal man! :D
