  jessicafischerqueen:

Editor Vlastimil Fiala's "Quarterly for Chess History" (Spring vol. 1) 1999, p.208 also gives the following moves for the end of this game:

51...Rgd7
52.Ke2 Rxd6
53.b4 Rb6
54.b5 Rxb5
55.Qg1 Rab7
56.Qa1 Rb1

==============

Fiala also indicates that the following move sequence we currently have at cg.com is in fact analysis published by ("The Field" May 18, 1901):

Kh8 52.Kf2 Rgd7 53.f4 Rxd6 54.fxe5 Rd1 55.Qxd1 a1=Q 56.Qd8+ Kh7 57.Qxf6 Ra2+ 0-1

=================

I am now going to correct this game score by deleting the analysis from "The Field" and installing the correct moves as given by <Charuchin> and also <Quarterly for Chess History>:

51...Rgd7
52.Ke2 Rxd6
53.b4 Rb6
54.b5 Rxb5
55.Qg1 Rab7
56.Qa1 Rb1
