Dzindzi played 10.Bxc6. Many players would balk at the idea of giving up the fianchetoed bishop, but this type of trade is typical in this opening. The doubled pawns on the semiopen file justify it.

The endgame is quite interesting. It's important to keep in mind that after the rook exchange in move 45, Black would get a draw if he managed to trade his bishop for the knight.

Jun-16-19  Granny O Doul: Demonstrating Tal vs B Ivanovic, 1988 for the crowd at the Manhattan Chess Club, Tal said that he wasn't sure he'd have given up his bishop at move 10 (to damage the structure) or even 11 (to win a pawn) had Black not defended each time. Come to think, Dzhindzhi was there than night too. Glad there wasn't a big argument that might have spoiled the evening.

fredthebear: A rather hectic minor piece ending as Black seeks to avoid exchanging the dark-squared bishops. In the final position, the White knight will mate next on one dark square or the other; Black's bishop cannot defend both.
