Sep-13-16		fredthebear: 35.Nc6+ Kb7 is an interesting move, rather brazen at first sight, just too obvious. White was trying to use it's knight as bait to deflect the Black queen to set up a discovered check with the White queen and the e-pawn advance that would capture Black's f6 and Bg7. Black sees and parries such a visible threat, which ends up costing White time. That same knight makes six moves intermittently and eventually ends up on the b7-square, where it is finally captured. Black's control of the long diagonal w/the Bg7 is decisive, as the bishop supports the hungry rook on the second rank, who eventually grabs the wayward knight on the 48th move and Black is up a piece. The game ends one move later when the Black queen gives check w/checks to follow. This game reminds us that if a threat can be easily parried with no timely follow-up, then it's best not to make the threat at all. Hoping the opponent does not see the ramifications of such an obvious threat is not good strategy. White hoped Black would be greedy, hasty and capture his knight, but Black declined and White's knight was worse off.
