Honza Cervenka: Chessgames.com, this game was played by Rudolf Maric
Mar-31-05  chess man: 27.Rc8 Great move to simplify the position.
Jan-26-15  zydeco: Funky opening by black. I wonder if Maric could have gotten away with 13....Qxd5. He might have been worried about something like 14.Qe2 Kh8 15.Bc4 and it'll get dicey for awhile, with black's queen and light-squared bishop poorly placed, but, on the other hand, he'll be up a pawn.

I think Maric might have missed that, after 24....Qxe6, white wins with 25.Bc4.

Jan-26-15  jvv: After 13....Qxd5 14. Qc2! black is lost.
Jan-26-15  zydeco: <jvv> Why is he lost? 14.Qc2 Qc6.

fredthebear: After 25.Rcxc6, the two rooks on the sixth is not so common especially when White has not made luft airhole, leaving the back rank quite vulnerable. White is forced to simplify, but has the superior endgame.
