Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-16-06  Belezky: This game drew my attention, because of the nicel executed plan, started with already (IMHO) with move 9! f5, and after the exchange on f5 the following play aimed against pawn e5. 11.Ng5 preparing to place a "blocker" on e4... After the central pawn was blocked, Glek's attack went good. Still, I have an impression that Black's play can be improved...

23.Rd3 is winning, but 23.Bf6 looks faster.

There is especialy nice line:
23.Bf6 h6 24.Rg5 hxg5 25.Qh8 mate :)

If 23... Re6, then a silent move 24.Rf3! comes. 24... Rxf6 25.Rxf6 Qg7 26.Rd3!

Great instructive game on how to handle with White the Pirc defense.

Mar-16-06  Belezky: Oh... And I forgot to mention the nice pawn sacrifice which has boosted White's attack - the move f6!
Mar-16-06  Belezky: One more thing...
19.Qg4 is a good move. But, White could play stronger: 19.Qh5!

e.g. 19.Qh5 Bxg5 20.Bxg5 f6 21.Bxf6 Rxf6 22.Qg5!

19... Qc5 would be slightly better. But, Black King is still in danger. 20. Kh1 Bxe4 21.Bf6!...

Mar-16-06  AjedrezVasco: You are right, quite a clear game, easy to understand. Thx for pointing out.
