An Englishman: Good Evening: What sayest the monsters of silicon about this game? The more I look at it, the more it looks like an unappreciated Nimzowitsch masterpiece, but you know how deluded we carbon-based life forms can get. Nonetheless, 41.Rh2 looks like a very fine endgame pawn sacrifice which ties Black into a miserable knot.

NM JRousselle: Nimzowitsch missed several chances to play g4. After Black plays 29... h5, the game is nearly equal.
Dec-26-24  chvsanchez: According to Stockfish 17, 26.Re6! is winning for White, with the idea of Rd6.

Looking further: <26...Bc8 27.Re8> (If now 27...Rxe8, then 28.Rxe8 Bd7 29.Ra8 should soon win a pawn; or 28...Rc7 29.Rd8 Rc5 30.g4, which is similar to the main line.) <27...Rf8 28.R1e7+ Kg8 29.Rxd8 Rxd8 30.g4> (Restricting Black's bishop further and inching toward an eventual g5... in order to weaken Black's control of the e5-square.).

One threat is to attack the d-pawn by Ke3..., Nc2..., Kd4..., Ne3..., etc. I don't see how Black might hold.
