alexrawlings: I came across this game through the openning explorer as I played a game last week which reached the same position going into move 8. (Both me and my opponent are rated c1800, I had the black pieces).

My game was similar to this one, and continued 8 Bd3 b5 9 0-0 Bb7 10 Re1 Rc8 11 e5 Nd5 12 Bg3 dxe5 13 Nxe5 c5 14 Bf1 cxd4 15 cxd4 Nb4 16 Rc1 Rxc1 17 Qxc1 Nxa2 and with an extra pawn and white's two isolated pawns I had a much better game and eventually won.

I think b4 was a move my opponent should have played, as was played in this game, setting up a marcosy bind with the pawns on b4 and d4.
